Globalizzazione, frammentazione produttiva e Tecnologia: Effetti sugli Infortuni sul Lavoro, Evidenze da Dati Amministrativi Italiani

The project focuses on analyzing the effects of production fragmentation and outsourcing—both domestic and international—on workers’ health and safety.The analysis will be conducted at the firm and sector levels, exploiting exogenous differences in exposure to shocks and adopted organizational strategies to identify causal effects. Heterogeneous impacts will also be examined by firm size, geographic area, and degree of technological adoption, socio-demographic characteristics and occupations. In this way, the project will provide rigorous empirical evidence on the impact of production fragmentation on workers’ health, contributing to a debate that has so far focused primarily on wages and employment
