Development, modeling and optimization of an air humidification system for PEM Fuel Cells in transportation applications - 2026_IDR_DENG_19
The candidate will carry out research activities aimed at the development, modeling, and optimization of an innovative air humidification system for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) for transportation applications. The research will include the refinement of the existing prototype, the experimental characterization of its performance, and the development of numerical models to analyze the system behavior under dynamic operating conditions. The results of the experimental and modeling activities will be used to optimize the dynamic coupling between the air humidification system and the fuel cell, ultimately increasing the technology readiness level (TRL) from 5 to 6 through system demonstration in a relevant environment.
