Pica Code IR-2026-062 - Large Language and Multimodal Models for Accessible and Personalized Learning

The winner will contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of AI-based methodologies and technologies supporting university students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD). Specifically, they will focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) to develop tools for accessibility and personalized learning. The winner will also develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for accessing educational content and will design and implement production-grade inference systems, assessing their effectiveness, usability, and scalability in real-world settings, in line with principles of fairness, transparency, and data protection.
