Development and testing of computer vision models and their integration into Precision Livestock Farming systems in livestock facilities, for the integrated analysis of animal welfare and behavior in relation to productivity and sustainability

The research involves the development and testing of computer vision models for monitoring animal behavior and well-being in livestock facilities. Activities will include requirements analysis, data collection and annotation, model development and validation, as well as their integration into Precision Livestock Farming systems. The results will be correlated to productivity and sustainability indicators, with final evaluation of performance and definition of application guidelines.
