Analysis of Nature-Based Therapies, Urban Green Space Accessibility, and Stakeholder Network Development in the GreenME Project

The research activity will focus on the analysis of data collected within the GreenME project, with particular emphasis on the evaluation of Nature-Based Therapies (NBTs), including the assessment of therapeutic protocols and their effects on human well-being and mental health. The research will also include the analysis of urban green space accessibility through GIS-based spatial analyses, using data derived from green space audits and their spatial distribution in relation to socioeconomic deprivation indices within the city of Bologna. In addition, the activity will encompass the mapping and analysis of national stakeholders involved in Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) and therapeutic horticulture, with the aim of supporting the development of a national network of practitioners and facilitating knowledge transfer and the dissemination of best practices for the implementation and integration of Nature-Based Therapies.
