2026-IdrDip-01-DBBS - Cognitive maps across language and space

The research activity will focus on the design, implementation,and validation of experimental paradigms aimed atinvestigating the contribution of linguistic representations tocognitive processes. Specifically, the project will examine therole of semantic representations derived from distributionalsemantic models in mental representations and cognitiveconflict. The activity will include the design of experimentalprotocols, the collection and analysis of behavioral andelectroencephalographic (EEG) data, and the integration ofcomputational and neurocognitive measures to characterize therelationship between language, mental representations, andcognitive control

Selection process
