Title of the project: "Development and Trajectories of Graphic Codes in Egypt and North Africa”. The research project “Development and Trajectories of Graphic Codes in Egypt and North Africa” is part of the project FIS2 SAPIENCE and aims to reconstruct the origins of prehistoric graphic codes by analysing how communities, from the Neolithic to the invention of writing, produced, selected, and transmitted symbols. The goal is to study these codes from cognitive, archaeological, semiotic, and anthropological perspectives, both within each context and comparatively. The post-doc focuses on North African graphic production from the Neolithic (Wadi Sura II, Tadrart Acacus, Gilf Kebir) to the Naqada period...Omissis..
