Description
Title of the project:" Decolonizing anthropological museum through researching collections and listening community". The successful candidate of the “Incarico di ricerca post doc” will join the Column research team of the COLUMN project aiming at investigating scientific colonialism and rethinking, reframing, and refreshing approaches to European and postcolonial arts, culture, heritage, and societal values. Specifically, he will contribute to the drafting of the Provenance Report for the Lidio Cipriani mask collection held at the Anthropological Museum of Bologna and to design participatory activities related to listening to the community of origin of these masks. The assignment will include both archival research at anthropological archives and museums and the use of public history tools to share the research findings with the communities of origin.
