Numerical Modelling and Simulation of Pulsating Heat Pipes for Advanced Heat Transfer Applications
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
09/IIND-07 - Thermal Sciences, Energy Technology, Building Physics And Nuclear Engineering
Description
The position will focus on the numerical modeling and simulation of Pulsating Heat Pipes. Activities include the development, implementation, and validation of reduced-order models and CFD approaches to describe the thermo-fluid-dynamic behavior of PHPs, including two-phase flow oscillations, heat and mass transfer and transient phenomena. The work will support design optimization and the interpretation of experimental results, and may include data-driven or machine learning techniques to enhance the predictive capabilities of the models.
