Description
The objective of the FISA24 project is to develop an innovative portfolio of bio-based bone grafts that provide structural support for bone regeneration, as well as the controlled release of antimicrobial substances, in order to reduce the risk of infection and increase bone healing. The project's fundamental research activities will therefore focus on isolating human antistaphylococcal antibodies that target a collagen-binding adhesin (CNA) and characterising their physicochemical and biological properties, as well as their capacity to be released by bio-based bone grafts.
