Description
The experimental investigation will be carried out at Sparacia experimental farm using an available plot (22 m long, 2 m wide and 15% sloping), in a bare soil condition, equipped for measuring runoff and soil loss due to natural rainfalls. The sediments collected in the plot storage system will be analysed to calculate the quantitative indicators applied in the Project WWI. The same analysis will be performed in two new plots, having the same morphological characteristics (length, wide and slope), which will be equipped for monitoring event runoff and soil loss when the soil is protected by a cover crop non-competitive with vineyard.
