Description
The research activity will focus on the physical-chemical characterization of materials used in innovative energy-conversion devices, as well as of the devices themselves, through spectroscopic,electrochemical, and morphological/structural analyses of functional surfaces. Particular attention will be devoted to investigating the structure–property relationships of the materials and the mechanisms of energy transduction using physical- chemical approaches. These approaches will also be employed to develop predictive models of the devices’ energy performance, with the aim of enabling the productionof prototypes functional to the project.
