Description

Study and experimental development of Digital Twin–based approaches applied to urban and forest/landscape contexts, also within a more-than-human perspective.The candidate will carry out the following activities:• critical review of the scientific literature on territorial, urban and environmental Digital Twins, including models, digital architectures, data flows and application domains;• development and practical demonstration (demo) of Digital Twin systems, integrating spatial, environmental and territorial data (e.g. three-dimensional and parametric modelling, sensor data, environmental simulations), applied to both urban contexts and forest/landscape systems;• analysis of the role of Digital Twins as decision-support tools for design, management and impact assessment.The activity also includes collaboration in relevant teaching activities and contributions to third mission activities.
