Pica Code: IPD-2026-016 - Targeting Tumor–Stroma Interactions: Identification of Novel Molecular Modulators in Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
06/MEDS-09 - Blood Diseases, Oncology And Rheumatology
Description
The winner will carry out experimental research in the fields of molecular biology and bioinformatics, with a particular focus on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the interactions between tumor cells and stromal components within the tumor microenvironment of pancreatic neoplasms. The activity will also involve the use of cellular and molecular biology techniques, including cell culture and gene expression analysis, as well as transcriptomic analysis and bioinformatic processing of the resulting datasets. In addition to these research activities, the candidate will be involved in complementary teaching duties in Biotechnology courses.
