The research project focuses on the study of fungal coculture systems using a chemical–analytical approach, with particular emphasis on the characterisation of metabolic profiles associated with interspecific interactions in food-related contexts. The aim is to investigate how coculture conditions influence the production and modulation of metabolites of interest compared to single-species cultures, with specific attention to secondary metabolites
