Scientific-Disciplinary Group
09/IIND-07 - Thermal Sciences, Energy Technology, Building Physics And Nuclear Engineering
Description
The postdoctoral appointment focuses on the study of the physicochemical aspects of the hydrogen hydrate formation process, with reference both to the theoretical analysis of the phenomena involved and to their experimental characterization. The research activity is aimed at understanding the mechanisms of nucleation, growth, and stability of hydrogen hydrates, with particular attention to the influence of operating conditions on formation kinetics and on the structural properties of the resulting material. The appointment includes the development and application of theoretical and thermodynamic models to support the interpretation of the observed phenomena, as well as the execution of laboratory experimental campaigns and the definition of testing protocols. The beneficiary will also contribute to the validation and systematization of the results and to the production of scientific reports and publications.
