Identification, structural characterization, and mapping of old-growth forests in Basilicata, and dendroecological analysis of wild fruit tree species

Evaluation of qualificationsInterview on:a) discussion on submitted qualifications and publicationsb) assessment of skills and knowledge in the field of:Use of structural attributes and bioindicators for the identification of old-growth forests;- Production, management, and evaluation of datasets derived from dendrochronological series;- Mapping of old-growth forests using both conventional and innovative methodologies;- Interpretation of growth patterns from retrospective tree-ring series in wild fruit tree populations and old-growth stands.The interview will be held in Italian Admission requirements:- PhD or equivalent degree obtained abroad;- Scientific and professional CV suitable for the postdoctoral position.Other relevant qualifications:a) Educational background- PhD with particular reference to SSD AGRI-03/B Silviculture, Forest Ecology and Management and to Forestry research field- Master’s degree in Forestry and Environmental Science or equivalent qualification- Any other qualifications: master’s degrees or advanced training courses, etc., and the relevant scientific field, National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for the Scientific Disciplinary Sector AGRI-03/B.b) Any research activity in the scientific field of the position, collaboration in teaching and third mission activities, and relevant work experience for the position;c) Scientific publications in the field of SSD AGRI-03/B Silviculture, Forest Ecology and ManagementEnglish languageForeign candidates must have adequate knowledge of Italian language
