Scientific-Disciplinary Group

09/IIET-01 - Electrical Engineering

Description

The objective of the research is the development of predictive approaches, advanced simulation tools, and experimental methodologies for the analysis and assessment of electromagnetic compatibility performance of onboard vehicular subsystems. The activity is aimed at modeling electromagnetic interference phenomena, predicting emission and susceptibility levels, and defining test setups representative of real operating conditions. Particular attention will be devoted to the interaction among different electrical and electronic subsystems and to noise sources generated by power conversion and energy management systems. The ultimate goal is to provide designers with effective diagnostic and methodological tools for the early identification and mitigation of electromagnetic compatibility issues during the initial design phases. The contract involves supplementary teaching activities for Circuit Theory and Electromagnetic Compatibility courses.
