The application for admission to the selection procedure (dated and signed),the documents and publications considered useful for the evaluation must be submitted, under penalty of exclusion, electronically, by visiting the following web page: https://pica.cineca.it/unipv/tipologia/idr selecting the Competition Notice you have chosen. In order to register with the system, you must have an email address. Following the guidelines published in the procedure, the applicant must enter all the information required for the application, enclosing all documents in electronic .PDF format. The selection of candidates is carried out on the basis of qualifications and interview, supplemented by a test of knowledge of the foreign language (see Art. 1 par. 1 Call for applications).
The public call with detailed attendance and selection rules (Art 4 and 6) can be found at: https://pica.cineca.it/unipv/tipologia/idrThe selections are open to candidates, Italian or foreigner, in possession, on the date of the deadline for submitting applications for the admission to the selection, of a research doctorate (PhD) or equivalent qualification obtained abroad, or, for the sectors concerned, a medical specialization qualification. The educational qualification has to concern the research theme.Further specific assessable qualifications (see Art. 1 par. 1 Call for applications): A background in dietetics and clinical nutrition is required, with advanced knowledge of public health, sustainability, the links between dietary patterns, the environment and ecosystems, the planetary diet, as well as of maintaining health through the application of lifestyle medicine principles. Competence is required in nutritional assessment, including through the use of dedicated instruments, in food safety and quality, in the critical appraisal of the scientific literature, and in the preparation of scientific outputs. The profile is completed by the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, an aptitude for project coordination, organisational autonomy, and methodological precision. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and of the main applications for data management and processing is required. Additional qualifications/experience/skills that may be considered include certifications/licences in nutrition and data analysis, experience with data management systems, and proven proficiency in scientific English. The following will also be assessed: the award of scholarships and/or contracts for activities in the field of dietetics and clinical nutrition; publications in indexed journals; participation in scientific events as a speaker; teaching and/or tutoring activities. The candidate must therefore demonstrate skills in managing projects in dietetics and clinical nutrition, with particular reference to: i analysis of the scientific literature and drafting a systematic literature review; i development and delivery of training courses on nutrition and health aimed at various population targets (teachers, children, families); i use, extraction, management and interpretation of data derived from monitoring questionnaires; (iv) autonomy in interpreting data and writing scientific articles; (v) dissemination of research results and outputs both through the drafting of detailed reports and through participation in conferences, congresses, or dedicated events.
