Modeling and experimental study of components of hydraulic actuation systems
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
09/IIND-06 - Fluid Machinery, Energy Systems And Power Generation
Description
The research program focuses on the modeling and experimental study of hydraulic drive system components. The modeling will be primarily one-dimensional, but three-dimensional fluid dynamics will also be used, if necessary, to understand complex local phenomena that can cause local losses. Experimental activities will be used for calibration and validation purposes. The post-doctoral researcher will also collaborate in the teaching activities of the relevant scientific-disciplinary group, with particular reference to Fluid Machinery, by supporting courses, practical exercises and seminars, as well as third mission activities, including technology transfer, dissemination of research results and support for collaborative initiatives with public and industrial bodies.
