Description
Title of the project: "Neural and computational mechanisms of value-based decision-making". The research project aims to investigate the neural and computational mechanisms underlying value-based decision-making in humans, with particular emphasis on the influence of motivational signals and the role of Pavlovian bias in guiding behavior. The focus is on the interaction between Pavlovian and instrumental learning and on how cues associated with rewards or punishments modulate the value assigned to actions and their outcomes. These processes will be examined in social, economic, and motor decisions, including morally relevant contexts in which choices have consequences for other individuals and require the evaluation of harmful outcomes, responsibility, and punishment...Omissis.
