Description

The research activity will focus on the development of an advanced computational framework for the integration of data-driven artificial intelligence models within a mechanistic digital twin of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). The researcher will be responsible for developing AI-based components capable of learning from heterogeneous clinical data, including medical imaging and electrophysiological signals, and for integrating them into mechanistic models of cardiac and vascular physiology.Prior experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks applied to biomedical domains is required. Particular emphasis will be placed on handling the intrinsic heterogeneity of patient data, including longitudinal datasets acquired through wearable or nearable sensors.The position also includes collaboration in teaching activities, with a focus on supervising and managing projects for Biomedical Engineering Master’s students within laboratory courses.
