Scientific-Disciplinary Group

07/AGRI-06 - Agricultural And Forest Genetics, Chemistry And Pedology

Description

Project activities include integrated physiological and soil analyses to assess the effects of biostimulants and biofertilizers obtained from plant cell cultures (PCC) and terrestrial cyanobacterial communities (TCC) on tomato plants under water stress. The project foresees the selection of the best-performing TCC in terms of growth promotion and stress tolerance, as well as the evaluation of the combined effect of selected biostimulant extracts and cyanobacterial communities on agronomic and physiological traits. Third Mission activities include strengthening relationships with stakeholders (agricultural companies, biotech firms and industrial partners) to share results and promote technology transfer, as well as dissemination initiatives through workshops and seminars on sustainability and biotechnological innovation.
