Description

The project examines the role of religious institutions in contemporary moral conflicts and in the dynamics of democratic pluralism through a case study focused on Finland or Romania. It analyzes official discourses, synodal documents, and public positions on issues such as gender, family, rights, and “culture wars,” with particular attention to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland or the Romanian Orthodox Church. The analysis is complemented by qualitative interviews and contributes to the comparative design of POLISMOD.
