Description
The NAVIGANS project aims at the complete development of an integrated optical gyroscope on chip, encompassing all activities from system requirement definition and design to microfabrication, packaging, testing,and performance qualification.The project is carried out by a partnership including GEM Elettronica, the Politecnico di Bari, the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, and the Fondazione Bruno Kessler,integrating advanced expertise in integrated photonics, microfabrication,and optoelectronic devices with the goal of delivering a novel inertial sensor ready for industrial applications.
