Description

The research activities concern the collection, management and analysis ofhydrological, meteorological and environmental data, with reference torepresentative basins of different hydro-climatic contexts. The integration of insitu observations, satellite remote sensing data and products derived fromregional and global climate models is planned to support the characterization ofthe hydrological processes. The activities include the assessment of datasetquality and the development and application of models for the simulation of thehydrological balance, with integrated approaches between observed data andclimate forcing. Activities related to the AI4Water project are also included inthis context. Collaborations with scientific partners and stakeholders areplanned, as well as the contribution to didactical activities in the referencesector
