The research activity will focus on the study of problems in semiclassical gravity within the framework of mathematical physics, and specifically in connection with the research project SPACE YR SOE20240000129 – CUP E63C24002410003. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of methods for the analysis of semiclassical backreaction effects in several areas of physics, including, for example, cosmology and black hole physics, with particular attention to the formulation of Cauchy problems for semiclassical equations, the existence and uniqueness of local and global solutions, asymptotic stability, the study of models of black hole evaporation and gravitational collapse, as well as the analysis of cosmological perturbation theories...
