Description

Title of the project:" Theoretical and computational research activity on kagome metals and line-graph materials". The holder of the position will be involved in theoretical and computational studies of kagome metals and line-graph materials, with the aim of clarifying the microscopic mechanisms underlying emergent electronic orders and identifying new material platforms with relevant quantum properties. The activity will include ab initio calculations of electronic structure, phonons, electron-phonon coupling, screened Coulomb interactions, and geometric/topological band properties. In line with the objectives of the project, the contractor will also apply many-body and beyond-mean-field techniques aimed at the quantitative description of superconductivity, charge instabilities, excitonic states, and related phenomena in kagome and line-graph systems.
