Description

Immobilization of enzymes on synthetic and/or natural supports derived from biomass and theirbiochemical characterization through spectrophotometric colorimetric and chemical-physical assays.Application of supported enzymes for polycondensation or ring-opening reactions to produce aliphatic and/or aromatic polyesters using systems operating in an inert and/or vacuum environment. Chemical synthesis of new monomers from biomass. Characterization of the produced polymers via 1H-NMR,GC-MS, GPC, and FT-IR techniques. Dissemination of the results obtained through participation in national and international scientific conferences.Collaboration with national research groups.
