Title of the project:3D Models of Undeciphered Scripts: Acquisition and Creation of the Digital Corpus". researcher will be engaged: The research project "3D Models of Undeciphered Inscriptions: Acquisition and Creation of the Digital Corpus" is part of the FIS2 SAPIENCE Symbols, Preliteracy and Code Evolution Project. The work plan includes the following activities: 1. Autopsy and documentation of objects inscribed in rongorongo in major museums and collections in Europe and the Americas (including Vienna, Honolulu/Hawaii, Washington, etc...), to assess their state of conservation. 2. Laser scanning and photogrammetry of the inscriptions to create high-resolution threedimensional models, allowing for accurate digital reproduction of the engraved surfaces and microvariations in the support. 3..Omissis.
