Description

Implementation of nuclear models for the double differential yield of the neutron production from different (p,n) and (d,n) reactions as neutron sources for BNCT in Geant4. Implementation of the physics lists for the neutron transport in matter, optimization of the energetic cuts for the secondary production to reduce computation time, optimization of the scoring strategy. Extension of these strategies to Monte Carlo transport in general.

The educational qualification has to concern the research theme.Further specific assessable qualifications (see Art. 1 par. 1 Call for applications):- Experience in Monte Carlo (preferably Geant4),- Experience in computation of cross sections for neutron production,- Experience in programming.
