Description

Title of the project:"Visual Studies: Virtual Worlds and Artificial Intelligence – New Paradigms and Methodologies". The research aims to produce an up-to-date methodological framework for the study of visuality in immersive and AI contexts, contributing to the debate on authorship, evidence and documentation, synthetic aesthetics, and the algorithmic governance of the visible. In terms of the educational experiments linked to the project, the research must generate replicable tools for teaching visual culture: the direct contribution of the research principal investigator to teaching will enable the methodologies developed to be fully implemented, with immediate benefits for workshops, modules and practices of critical visual analysis. The research will strengthen an interdisciplinary profile spanning the history and theory of the image, visual studies and theories of photography..Omissis.
