Scientific-Disciplinary Group

09/IIET-01 - Electrical Engineering

Description

The research objective is the development of advanced simulation tools and experimental methodologies for electromagnetic-interference analysis, mainly radiated susceptibility and crosstalk, in complex electrical interconnections for automotive and aerospace applications. The activity is aimed at modelling electromagnetic coupling phenomena through predictive models based on multiconductor transmission line approaches, integrated with electromagnetic simulations and extended to non-uniform geometries, as well as at predicting system responses under impulsive disturbances. A key focus will be the development of hybrid models based on physics-informed approaches and data-driven techniques, with the goal of reducing computational cost and supporting the design process since the early stages. The position also includes supplementary teaching activities in the areas of Circuit Theory and Electromagnetic Compatibility.
