Mental distress among adolescents is a public health priority, especially in relation to complexsocio-ecological determinants of health (urban, economic, educational, social, climatic).There is a lack of up-to-date data on adolescent well-being, addictive behaviors, andfunctional outcomes. In addition, the dynamics and mechanisms underlying individualenvironmentinteractions are poorly understood.This project aims to: provide a detailed picture of adolescent well-being and its relationshipwith ecological variablesWe intend to conduct a large-scale (n=18000) intensive longitudinal epidemiological survey ofadolescents aged 14-19 years in the Rome metropolitan area, using the smartphone-basedMomentana Ecological Assessment (EMA).By integrating first-person secondary and environmental/community data, the EcoPsy projectaims to develop new interdisciplinary socio-ecological models of environmental adversity andidentify novel risk mechanisms
