Description

The PROPLA project investigates the effects of nanoplasticsalong the gut-brain axis, with particular attention to themechanisms of intestinal barrier damage and to microbiotaalterations capable of influencing the central nervous system. Theplanned activities include the use of murine models of nanoplastic exposure, the collection and analysis of biologicalsamples (intestine and feces), and the analysis of the microbiotathrough NGS techniques. Candidates must possess solid skills in16S rRNA sequencing, qPCR, and in the bioinformatic analysis ofmetagenomic data. Experience with laboratory animals isappreciated.
