Description

The research activity falls within OR 2 with implications for ORs 3, 4, and 9. It focuses on the energy-to-energy conversion of unsold products and food waste, aimed at generating energy while maintaining environmental circularity. The activity will also focus on the application of anaerobic digestion in laboratory-scale prototype systems to identify optimal process conditions for implementation in biopackaging-based production systems.Evaluation methods for energy, environmental, and economic sustainability will be used using consolidated models, including the Green Chemistry approach.
