Description

The candidate will conduct research to assess Gastrotricha biodiversity, focusing on Italian species. The candidate must demonstrate experience in genome mplification and sequencing techniques, including Whole Genome Amplification (WGA) and hole Genome Sequencing (WGS). Additionally, he/she should possess bioinformatics skills for reads assembling, gene extraction, and annotation. Proficiency in leading software for phylogenetic analysis is also needed. Supporting teaching activities in the area of Zoology and public engagement activities related to the research area covered by the assignment are also foreseen.
