Description
The research will primarily focus on the preparation and chemical-physical characterization of lipid-based nanoparticles and polymeric nanoparticles using spectroscopic techniques and Dynamic Laser Light Scattering; and on identifying the most suitable method for each delivery system for the incorporation of biologically active molecules.The objectives of the research activity are: 1) the identification and preparation of efficient lipid-based nanosystems capable of delivering therapeutic agents across biological barriers; 2) the preparation of lipid- and polymer-based delivery systems for use against pathogens.
