Description
The research project focuses on the theoretical construct of “unlearning”, an intentional process aimed atchallenging the status quo and reshaping interpretative patterns, allowing organizational adaptation andalignment to new competitive and technological constraints. It refers to the ability of organizations toabandon old beliefs and habits and promote the development of innovative routines and capabilitiesfollowing a virtuous circle of creation and renovation of organizational knowledge and know-how. Theproject includes both the theoretical study of unlearning as a concept and the analysis if its practicalimplications (in terms of management, organization design and training processes) conducting on the fieldresearch activities aimed at producing “Third Mission” impact. Research results will also represent apotential base for didactical activities.
