Description

The assignment involves studying the fungal component associated with waste substrates. The isolated strains will be identified morphologically and molecularly and preserved in a fungal collection useful for waste recovery and improvement. The research will provide a snapshot of the biodiversity of the cultivable mycobiome associated withdifferent types of waste (civil /agricultural waste). The main enzymatic activities of the most promising strains will be studied and the potential of its use in the transformation of the waste will be investigate.
