Description
The research program aims to support the development and evaluation of novel therapeutic approaches against tuberculosis and the investigation of drug mechanisms of action and resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Activities will include the application of microbiological and molecular approaches for the characterization of innovative compounds, the analysis of resistant strains, and the identification of biomarkers supporting drug discovery and preclinical development of new anti-tubercular agents.

The educational qualification has to concern the research theme.Further specific assessable qualifications (see Art. 1 par. 1 Call for applications):Working Experience with pathogenic mycobacteria and/or in a BLS3 safety laboratory will be considered an added value.
