Posted on: 12/06/2026
Deadline: 15/07/2026
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
08/CEAR-07 - Structural Analysis And Design
Description
The research will focus on numerical modeling ofmaterials, elements, and structures representative ofexisting and historical masonry construction, to refinepractical methods for their seismic safety assessment, with special emphasis on building aggregates peculiar ofhistorical centers. It will also cover the numericalvalidation of retrofit techniques for masonry walls, floordiaphragms, roof structures and connections, includingthe application of composite materials or timbercomponents.
