Description

The planned research activity involves translational studies on breast cancer. Specifically, the development of an international consortium for the study of lobular carcinoma and rare histological breast cancers; biological characterization and prognosis assessment of these breast cancer subgroups. This activity is particularly scientifically relevant given the limited knowledge available on these tumor types. Furthermore, the successful candidate will collaborate on the training program for residents at the School of Specialization in Medical Oncology and on the Third Mission activities carried out within the Medical Oncology Clinical Operating Unit.
