Narrative Agency and Generative AI: Literary Theory and Qualitative Textual Analysis
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
10/COMP-01 - Comparative Literature And Literary Theory
Description
The activity aims to explore the transformations of narrative agency and quality in texts produced by generative AI systems. Drawing on the tradition of ethics and literary theory, the research will examine to what extent human-LLM storytelling practices redefine the categories of authorship, voice, and textual coherence. Through the analysis of a corpus of human-LLM collaborative works, the project will develop qualitative criteria for the evaluation of AI-generated texts and explore their impact on contemporary literature and media narratives, with the aim of contributing to the debate on AI ethics from a humanities perspective.
