Title of the project: "Women, the Screen, and Production: Gender Inequalities in Italian Television Between Production Practices and Narrative Representations" - The project examines gender inequalities in Italian television by linking three dimensions that are usually studied separately: the gender composition of the creative workforce, narrative representations, and audience attitudes. Its core hypothesis is that women’s presence in key production roles, together with industrial context variables, shapes the narrative centrality of female characters and the degree of stereotyping in their representation, with possible effects on public views of gender roles...Omissis.
