Description

The research activity will be carried out within Work Package 5 of the RAPHAEL project, funded by Horizon Europe, which evaluates the efficacy of an integrated palliative care approach in heart failure care. The study employs a stepped-wedge trial design conducted across nine European countries, with the University of Brescia as the sole Italian centre.Activities will include: recruitment of the 70 patients; systematic collection of clinical data specified by the protocol; follow-up assessments at 3 and 6 months. The fellow will contribute to statistical analysis in collaboration with Utrecht University. The fellow will further contribute to interim and final reports for the consortium and the European Commission, to the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, and to participation in periodic RAPHAEL consortium meetings.
