Description
The project aims to analyse the role that the archaeological and historical-artistic heritage of the Phlegraean Fields has played in the construction of national cultural and artistic identity. Through the cataloguing and analysis of evidence relating to works, artefacts, artists, critics, institutions and exhibition practices, the research will examine the processes of interpretation and reinterpretation of antiquity, highlighting their aesthetic and semantic implications for contemporary society.The project aims to contribute to a better understanding and promotion of the monuments of the Phlegraean Fields, through innovative tools such as 3D modelling techniques and an advanced database within the HBIM information system, which will enable this exceptional heritage to be passed on to future generations.
