Description
The research involves the installation of sensors on existing buildings to acquire their response and to identify anomalies caused by micro seismic phenomena. The research is of particular interest to recognize the causes of instability affecting the areas subjected to sedimentary volcanism (cold volcanoes). The identification of such phenomena, through structural response, represents a goal that needs to be achieved for civil protection purposes, mainly in contexts where conventional experimental tests are difficult to be carried out.
