Description

Title of the project:"Development of photoelectrochemical devices for sustainable solar energy conversion". The project concerns the preparation, integration and characterization of materials and devices for solar-energy conversion, with particular attention to photovoltaic thin films and the assembly of photoelectrochemical (PEC) devices. The post-doc will contribute to the deposition and optimization of semiconductor layers, such as metal oxides and halide perovskites, contacts and functional interfaces; fabrication of device architectures; measurement of structural, optical, electrical and photoelectrochemical properties; and analysis of charge transport, stability and degradation mechanisms. The work will be interdisciplinary and broad enough to address different material classes for photovoltaic and PEC applications.
