The project focuses on the comparison between cardiac progenitors derived from induced pluripotent stem cells(iCPCs) and adult/endogenous cardiac stem cells (eCSCs) obtained from the same donors, with the aim of reducmginterindividual biological variability and enabling a more accurate assessment of their respective biological properties.The main focus is the analysis of genomic and transcriptomic diffcrences between the two cell populations, theirmolecular stability, self-renewal capacity, and potential for differentiation toward the cardiomyocyte lineage.
